This class aims to develop balanced creativity and art skills for children. The goal of this curriculum is to guide children not merely to draw well, but rather to openly express their imagination on paper. Each project is completed over the span of two classes. For each topic, students will learn to define their emotions and further embrace their own expressive desires based on observations. Art is a great means of communication that allows children to convey their emotions frankly and beautifully; Gorilla Art & Craft guides students to earn a sense of achievement and confidence through respecting their individualities and freely expressing them. Our classes do not merely teach artistic techniques, but further focuses on helping students discover and develop their creativity and artistic passions.
Classes are held over Zoom. Teachers use both digital and traditional modes of drawing to illustrate examples. Students have a choice of using a document camera or their default laptop/tablet camera to show their faces and communicate with the teachers and peers.

Parents should set up Zoom, the video conferencing application, for the students prior to their first class.
They should also guide students to enter the Zoom waiting room at least 30 minutes prior to the start of class for the very first class, and at least 10 minutes beforehand for all subsequent classes.
Waiting rooms can be entered simply by clicking on the class invitation links that can be found in the "Schedule" page, once enrolled.

Absence & Makeup
  • Makeups are only offered if prior notice for the absence through email or provided system is given.
  • No live sessions are offered for makeup sessions.
  • Makeups are offered in the form of recorded videos of the class the student is absent for, which will be open to the student until the start of the next class.
  • Students must make up all missed work by the next class—this is crucial especially for classes in which the artworks are completed over the span of 2 or 3 class sessions.
